About Us

Vintage Rolls Royce

Andy Wilson has had an interest in photography all his adult life. As far back as the 1970s he bought his first SLR (film) camera, which he used mainly for private work. At this time he first developed an interest in portraiture, land+sea-scape and record images of functions & events (now known as Reportage). All images were taken in colour and then processed & printed using the services of professional laboratories.
Andy now uses professional Canon DSRL cameras and lens for all his work. The images are processed using Adobe Photoshop CS4 and then Andy prints all his own images up to A2 (59.4cm x 42cm, 23.4ins x 16.5ins) using Epson professional papers and inks. This includes colour, black & white and other toned (e.g. sepia) prints. His services includes taking several images and creating  a montage on either a plain or patterned background before printing on a single page.

 Company history

Walnut Photography came into existance soon after Andy moved to Flixton in rural Suffolk with his wife in 2006. He converted a garage into a studio for portrait work, with the view to using it for other forms of photography.
Initially Andy only advertised his work by word of mouth and then via a local community news magazine; by late 2009 he felt ready to move to web based advertising.
